Morton School Senior Apartments

The Morton School Senior Apartment community is a 48-unit development that provides housing for low-income seniors. The project includes the adaptive reuse of the historic Oliver P. Morton School No. 29, and the construction of a four-story addition. The addition mimics the style and aesthetics of the original school. With efficient fixtures and 257 solar panels, the project hopes to achieve a Gold National Green Building Standard and a Home Energy Rating System Index score of less than 50.

The project includes four two-bedroom units, 38 one-bedroom units, and six studios.
