King’s Daughters’ Hospital
In 1899, Drusilla Cravens donated the house that would become the first King’s Daughters’ Hospital. Over time, King’s Daughters’ became a regional health facility that served the Madison, Indiana area. To better meet the needs of the community, the hospital moved from downtown Madison to a hilltop campus in 2013. The new, 186,000-square-foot replacement hospital connected the rich history of the city with modern technology, creating a home-like atmosphere.
