Julia M. Carson Transit Center

Located in downtown Indianapolis, the Julia M. Carson Transit Center is sleek and modern, and serves as a hub for pedestrians, cyclists, and bus riders. The 14,000-square-foot building opened in June 2016 and includes 19 bays for IndyGo buses. Thanks to environmentally friendly features like curbside rain gardens, LED lighting, and thermoplastic olefin roofing, the transit center is LEED® Gold.

The transit center provides dignity to bus riders, encourages others to explore the transit system, and serves as a portal to downtown.
