ACLU of Indiana

After the 2016 election, the ACLU of Indiana decided to renovate their 8,000-square-foot office space. The two-level space near downtown Indianapolis had not been updated for many years, which resulted in a “break room” in which both the microwave and water heater were located. Axis re-imagined the space, ensuring that it was friendly and welcoming to all. From the walls to the stairwells to the elevator shaft, the space is filled with vivid reminders of all the ACLU does to protect the rights and freedoms of individuals.

The design includes a number of graphic elements that speak to the ACLU’s mission.
