In 1977 – when the first Monumental Awards event was held – Indianapolis looked quite different. We didn’t have the Salesforce or OneAmerica towers, and the Monon was still a rail, not yet a trail. Heck, it would be another seven years before the Colts moved in.
But over the last four decades, the cityscape has changed. And so has the dedication to excellent design.
